Drawing on the perceptions of various stakeholders, including government officials, educators, students, parents, community leaders, religious leaders and industry, the study examines the tension between the imperatives of economic growth and the promotion of human values in the education system. The main arguments highlight the importance of balancing vocational training with humanistic education, fostering inclusive decision-making processes and promoting stakeholder collaboration.
