The Strategic Plan of the National Institute of Science, Innovation and Technology of Timor-Leste – An horizon for science, technology and innovation until 2030

Abstract

It is intended to disclose the guiding axes of the strategic plan of the INCT of Timor-Leste, which was designed to stimulate science, scientific research, innovation and technology until 2030. Based on key guiding documents, national and international studies and official documents, it was possible to outline a strategic plan that contemplates intervention in five axes: Scientific Research, Inventory and Training, Editing and Publishing, Accreditation and Cataloguing of Scientific Knowledge and Institutional Development. The implementation of these five strategic axes, until 2030, which has the quadruple helix of innovation as a guiding principle, will be fundamental to leverage science and promote scientific research in Timor-Leste.
